Assessment & Evaluation

Artifact 1: Volunteer Training Module

Description

The artifact displayed is my reflection paper on a four-module online course created collaboratively with a team consisting of 4 members. The course aimed at training animal shelter volunteers about the organization's policies, and procedures.

Description

The artifact displays my ability to assess and evaluate a unit of instruction created by a learning theorist in the field of instructional technology.

Rationale

Rationale

The module created took into account the effective means in which appropriate technologies, instructional goals, learner outcomes, and instructional activities could be successfully integrated into the design of an online learning course. Hence, this artifact evidences my ability to apply content knowledge as well as, develop and manage effective learning environments.

This artifact evidences my ability to critically assess the theorist assumptions about learning, their strategies, and elements. Along with these, I proposed changes that could help improve the theory. Overall, this aligns with AECT standards as it demonstrates my ability to reflect on effective theoretical applications of educational processes to improve learning and performance results. Consequently, enabling me to design assessment and evaluations plans that align with set goals.
